ブルースクリーン「KERNEL_­DATA_­INPAGE_­ERROR」STOPエラー0x0000007A

サーバーでブルースクリーンが発生した・・・。

 

ブルースクリーンの内容は

KERNEL_­DATA_­INPAGE_­ERROR

STOPエラーコード：0x0000007A

 

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer.
If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed.
If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, or remove any newly installed hardware of software.
Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing.
If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components,
restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

内容は、新しく追加したハードウェアもしくはソフトウェアを削除もしくは無効にしろというような内容。

­「INPAGE_­ERROR」と「Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing」から、メモリもしくは仮想メモリ(ディスク)に何かあると疑った。

ブルースクリーンが出る原因は、基本は

• ハードウェア故障
• ハードウェアのファームウェアバグ
• ドライババグ

のどれかだ、低いレイヤー(ハードウェア周り)で問題がある。

 

環境

• Windows Server 2008 R2
• IBM x3630M3

 

現象

通常は問題ないが、高負荷状態になるとブルースクリーン(KERNEL_­DATA_­INPAGE_­ERROR)でダウンになったり、

ブルースクリーンにならずに突然ダウンし再起動がかかる場合もあった

 

原因

IBM ServerRAID M1015デバイスドライバに不具合があることが分かった

Blue screen or I/O errors encountered in Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2 - IBM ServerRAID M1015 (46M0831)

いわいるRAIDドライバのバグだ。

対応方法として、今回の場合は

IBM ServerRAID M1015 デバイスドライバーを 4.35 から 4.32Aへダウングレードをし回避しました。

 

もしも、KERNEL_­DATA_­INPAGE_­ERRORブルースクリーンになった場合、今回の場合はRAIDドライバにバグがありましたが、そのマシンのハードウェア周りを疑って見てください。
